Strong coffee ethic but lean a bit more toward fancy flavorings than getting the most out of a pull. Espresso was average. Decent eats a available. Decor mostly relies on Veteran/Military theme but there's plenty of seating, it's quiet, and it's not a bad place to camp out and get some work done most days. Would be nice to see them put a bit more effort into espresso, beans generally, and comfortable seating. Street parking can be tight depending when you go.

I stopped in recently and saw a large chalkboard sign quoting Margaret Thatcher: 'The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.' It’s an interesting stance for a business to take, considering public records show Pale Horse LLC received a $20,000 PPP loan from the government in April 2020 that was 100% forgiven. Taking a taxpayer-funded handout while publicly complaining about 'other people's money' is incredibly hypocritical. I prefer to support businesses that stand by their stated principles. This place could’ve been a 5 stars but the last thing I need is a coffee shop that wants to flaunt their politics. Just serve coffee. That’s it. I don’t need a lecture at 7 am.

Pale Horse Coffee is exactly what you want in a local coffee shop. Great coffee, consistent quality, and a solid atmosphere whether you’re meeting someone or getting some work done. Staff is always friendly and dialed in. Easy recommendation if you’re in the area.

Great coffee and great burritos. They are also veteran owned. I love supporting local businesses like these. They made my cortado perfectly. They have a huge in seating area with free WiFi. They use a darker roast which was better for the cortado. I came here every morning while on travel to start my day.
